Do you require a retainer?
Yes, a percentage of your total balance is required upfront for me to hold your date.
Weddings - 25%
Proposals/Engagements - 50%
My venue requires proof of insurance, can you provide that?
Yes - let me know a couple of months before the wedding if you can since it may take a little time for my insurance company to process and provide that document.
Photo and video delivery?
Images and videos are delivered online. This allows me to set you up with a password-protected gallery that's easily sharable with friends and family, download options, and the ability to order prints! Videos are a direct download as well as hosted online.
How long does it take to receive our images and video?
Photos - Generally you'll see a few sneak peek images delivered to you to share on social media and the remainder of your images are delivered 4 -6 weeks from the wedding date. This is subject to change based on how busy things get.
Video - Ceremony, Highlight Reels, and Cinematic Films can take up to 6-8 months for delivery at this time.
Albums - Delivery on albums can vary depending on many factors. Once your questionnaire is filled out and we are confirmed on the design, delivery is expected to be 1 week after that date.
How many images can I expect?
I have tons of memory cards to make sure I can make it through even the longest of days!
Weddings can expect around 50 images per hour of coverage.
I deliver around 30 images in total for engagement sessions.
Do I own the rights to the photos?
You have the rights for printing and personal use, whether through the gallery or a printer of your choosing. I still own the rights to the images which allows me to use them for portfolio, social media, printing, and competition purposes.
Are hours booked consecutive or can they be broken up throughout the day?
Yes, all hours booked are in consecutive hours.
Do you offer a second photographer or videographer?
Yes, you can add on a second photographer! In videography collections, you'll always have a second videographer so I can deliver the best product to you.
What if I have to cancel my wedding? Do I get my retainer back?
No, the retainer is non-refundable. The retainer holds the date specifically for you and I do turn down all other work for that date.
Where are you based out of?
I am located in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
How long have you been in business
Officially I started business in 2017. My experience started around 2012 while in college assisting a local photographer here in Louisville, KY, and eventually started photographing weddings on my own in July of 2015.
Do you bill for travel?
Travel outside of the Louisville area, but still within a few hours' drive, is priced at the current federal mileage rate plus an hourly fee.
