Images and videos (to a certain length) are delivered online through a website, SmugMug. This allows me to set you up with a password protected gallery, download options, and the ability to order prints!
How Long Does It Take To Receive Our Images And Video?
Photos - Generally you'll see a few sneak peak images on social media and the full load of images are delivered a month to 6 weeks from the wedding date.
Video - Ceremony, Highlight Reels, and Cinematic Films can take up to 6-8 months for delivery at this time.
Albums - Delivery on albums can vary depending on many factors. Once we are confirmed on the design delivery is expected to be 4-6 weeks after that date.
How Many Images Can I Expect?
I have tons of memory cards to make sure I can make it through even the longest of days.
Weddings can expect roughly 75 images per hour of coverage.
I deliver around 50 images total for engagement sessions.
Do I Own The Rights To The Photos?
You have the rights for printing and personal use, whether through the SmugMug gallery or a printer of your choosing. I still own the rights to the images which allows me to use them for portfolio, social media, printing, and competition purposes.
Can I Modify The Wedding Packages?
YES! Packages are a general guideline but more time can be added for odd number of hours because every day is different.
Can I Exchange Engagement Sessions For More Time?
Engagement sessions can not be exchanged. These sessions are really for us to get to know one another and make your wedding day as comfortable as possible. Who really wants a stranger with a camera at their wedding?
Are Hours Booked Consecutive Or Can They Be Broken Up Throughout The Day?
Yes, all hours booked are in consecutive hours.
If We Run Over Time Will You Stay?
Yes, but only with your permission. All extended hours will be billed once I'm back at the office at my current hourly rate.
Can I Provide A Shot List?
Of course! It does help speed up the process for more formal images with family and the bridal party. Any particular guests or group images you would like can also be listed. However, listing every image you want throughout the day is not suggested as I will already look for those moments.
Do You Offer A Second Photographer or Videographer?
My wedding packaging has changed with time, but I do offer a second photographer or videographer at an additional cost. Combination photo and video packages come with a second photographer/video built into the pricing listed.
Where Are You Based Out Of?
I am located in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
How Long Have You Been In Business?
I have been officially in business since 2017. My experience started about five to six years ago in college assisting a local photographer here in Louisville, KY and eventually started photographing weddings on my own in July of 2015.
Do You Have Business Insurance?
Not just yet but it's in the works!
My Venue Requires Proof Of Insurance. Can You Provide That?
Yes, once I have insurance— let me know a couple months before wedding if you can since it may take a little time for my insurance company to process and provide that document.
Do You Require A Deposit?
Yes, 25% of your total balance is required up front for me to hold your wedding date. The remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding.
What If I Have To Cancel My Wedding? Do I Get My Deposit Back?
Unfortunately, no. The retainer and all other payments are non-refundable. The retainer holds the date specifically for you and I do turn down all other work for that date.
Do You Bill For Travel?
Travel outside of the Louisville area, but still within a few hours drive, is priced at 55 cents a mile.
For travel going far you pay for the flight, room, and rental car and nothing else. Pretty good right? Go ahead and book me for out of state!
What Cameras Do You Use?
I have three Sony full frame cameras. The A7III, A7RIII, and the A9. I'm generally with two cameras and the 35mm and 85mm prime lenses. I have an arsenal of lenses to make sure I'm prepared for any situation.
